What these terms cover

These terms govern your use of the FeeSift website and its calculators and analyzer. FeeSift is provided free of charge by the operator named in the legal notice, a natural person in Germany.

There is no account, no registration and no paid feature. Using the site does not create a service contract, and nothing here obliges you to pay for anything or obliges us to keep the site running.

What FeeSift is, and what it is not

FeeSift applies published marketplace fee rules to figures you supply. Its output is an estimate and a reconciliation aid — a second opinion you can check your own numbers against.

• FeeSift is not tax, legal, accounting or financial advice, and using it creates no advisory relationship.
• Fee rules, taxes, promotions and category treatment change. FeeSift shows the rule version and verification date it used; see the sources page.
• Where a figure comes from your uploaded report, FeeSift labels it as reported rather than estimated. Reported values are Whatnot's, not ours.
• Whatnot's own statements, records and terms control. Where FeeSift and your payout statement disagree, the statement is authoritative and we would like to hear about the difference.

Availability

FeeSift is offered as it is and as it happens to be available. No particular uptime is promised, and the site, its calculations or individual features may be changed, restricted or discontinued at any time. Because nothing you enter is stored on our side, there is no data of yours to lose if that happens.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• interfere with the site's operation or attempt to overload, probe or circumvent its protections;
• use automated means to retrieve content at a scale that burdens the service;
• present FeeSift's output as an official Whatnot statement, or imply that FeeSift is operated or endorsed by Whatnot;
• reproduce the site's content commercially without permission.

You are responsible for the data you feed into the tool, including having the right to process the buyer data contained in your own Whatnot report.

Liability

The operator is liable without limitation for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and under the German Product Liability Act.

For slight negligence, the operator is liable only where a material obligation is breached — an obligation whose fulfilment makes proper use of the site possible in the first place and on whose observance you may reasonably rely. In that case liability is limited to the damage typical for this kind of service and foreseeable at the time. Any further liability for slight negligence is excluded.

Content and trade marks

The site's text, design and code are protected by copyright. Private, non-commercial use is permitted; anything beyond that needs written consent.

FeeSift is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Whatnot. “Whatnot” and related signs are trade marks of their respective owners, used here descriptively to name the marketplace the calculations relate to.

The results you generate from your own data are yours. Exports are created in your browser and we claim no rights over them.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be amended when features, law or the operator's circumstances change. The version and review date at the foot of this page always identify the current text; there is no retroactive amendment of a version you already relied on.

Applicable law

German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you use FeeSift as a consumer, this choice does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of your country of habitual residence.
